Everything we publish is behaviour and wellbeing guidance. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and does not replace a veterinarian. Cats hide illness well, which is why several of our own articles stop and tell you to go to a vet. If something about your cat worries you physically, please do that first, and come back to the behaviour work afterwards.

What we promise about our guidance

Our behaviour guidance is free and stays free. It’s built from published behaviour science and written in our own words. It is not a guarantee — no advice is. Cats set their own pace, and some keep some limits for life. We’d rather tell you that upfront than sell you a timeline we can’t honour.
